Wombats Room

Our Wombats room is licensed for 20 children. In this room we have a maximum ratio of 1 educator to 4 babies.
Routines in the Wombats room are predominantly ‘Home Routines’ ie continuing the already established routines of feeding & sleep for each child, following consultation with families.
Our nurturing educators seek to build one-on-one relationships with each child and create a sense of belonging. This provides the children with a comfortable and safe environment to develop age appropriate skills (such as awareness and self help skills).
Educators use play periods to allow babies and toddlers to explore through touch and movement to develop and refine cognitive development and motor skills.
